New Fencing on Chestnut Hill Road in Brookside

DelDOT Projects in the 24th
The 2022-2023 selected Community Transportation Fund projects are in Brookside, Chestnut Hill Estates, Greenleaf Manor, Elmwood, Sherwood Forest, Birchwood Park, Breezewood, Scottfield, Sycamore Gardens and Greenbridge. These curb repairs and street repaving projects are funded and awarded to contractors. I will be reviewing the DelDOT road rating list to select the projects for the 2023-2024 paving season.
Completed intersection upgrade at Chapman Road and Regal Blvd. at the entrance of the Triwoods community. Improvements included new overhead lighting, traffic signal, stormwater drainage system, sidewalks and community signage.
Chapman Road over I-95 bridge replacement project has started and is scheduled for completion winter 2022-2023. The new bridge will be constructed on a new alignment adjacent to the existing bridge, which will minimize traffic impacts.
