Improving the Community

Drainage and Transportation issues are just some of the concerns Rep. Ed Osienski addresses in the 24th District

New Fencing on Chestnut Hill Road in Brookside

I worked with Department of Transportation to create the scope of the new fencing project, and DelDOT provided me an estimate for the work. As a member of the Capital Infrastructure Committee, I was able to secure the funding through the Community Reinvestment Fund to get the project done.

The 2022-2023 selected Community Transportation Fund projects are in Brookside, Chestnut Hill Estates, Greenleaf Manor, Elmwood, Sherwood Forest, Birchwood Park, Breezewood, Scottfield, Sycamore Gardens and Greenbridge. These curb repairs and street repaving projects are funded and awarded to contractors. I will be reviewing the DelDOT road rating list to select the projects for the 2023-2024 paving season.
